Some insider things of IPU.
Placements: Your overall academic performance should be excellent and there will be vivas. In those vivas, if you score well, then only you'll get placement, as placement is given to only 3–4 students out of 60 students, and that also depends on the teachers.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure of IPU are excellent, as the central library and a few classes of departments are centralized with air conditioning. Mess food is also great, unlike other colleges mess food. There are badminton courts, tennis courts, basketball courts, football fields, volleyball ground and swimming pools for students.
Faculty: Faculty teachers are really so cooperative and so educated that they have even written books. Pursuing a B.A. in Engineering Honors from IPU is beneficial as we can enroll in M.A. if we want to and even we can pursue a Ph.D. directly after B.A. if we want and our overall academic position will be in the top 10.
Other: One thing that IPU doesn't say is that BBA is on the main campus but still they say that BBA is not on the main campus.

Good environment with best facilities.
Placements: In my course, around 50% of students get placed. The highest package offered is 15 lakh per annum, while the lowest is 3 lakh per annum. Top recruiting companies include Accenture, KPMG, Deloitte, Google, and Infosys. Overall, all students secure internships at top companies.
Infrastructure: Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University supports students with excellent infrastructure facilities. The library has a vast collection of resources covering a wide range of subjects, and the digital library complements the physical library. It is open to all students.
Faculty: At my university, the facilities are very supportive, friendly, and knowledgeable. They help us improve our skills and provide guidance to every student. Faculty members are often described as offering the necessary support for success. The exams are manageable if students attend every lecture, with a passing percentage of around 40%.
Other: I appreciate this because I am an arts student; it is beneficial for me and my future. This college provides competent faculty to help me improve my skills and build my confidence.

It is a good college, nearby metro.
Placements: Only 20% students were placed after completing the course and even they got placed through their own efforts. The highest salary package offered here was 12 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. The average salary package offered was 7 LPA. None of the companies visited the college for placements. Many students decide to opt for M.Tech courses. You have to find an internship on your own.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are good here. There is Wi-Fi, a good library, well-lit classrooms and laboratories, which are not very good. There is a canteen with an average menu, and the food is not very expensive. The hostel is not available, but medical facilities are provided. Sports are available.
Faculty: In offline mode, teachers were strict and helpful, but due to online classes, they can't provide much help. They are well-qualified and knowledgeable professors. Their teaching quality is also good, but there are always exceptions. The course curriculum is relevant.

Q:   Is it good to pursue BA in English literature?
    A:
Hi Balaji, Once graduated in B. A. (Hons.) English literature, you could do your M.A. or an MBA. There are several higher study options for meritorious graduates in English language and literature, such as journalism and mass communication; management; tourism administration; law; international relations; linguistics; communication management; film editing and direction; visual communication; and library and information science and forms of creative arts like drama and cinema. You can explore the option of doing some specialised post graduate courses for which graduation is needed in the field of media, multimedia, public relations, foreign languages, teaching, social work, finance, retail, design, hospitality, stocks, aviation etc. based on your interests and strengths. If you have a flair for writing, have good communication skills and a reading habit, journalism or mass communication is a good choice. You could also opt for academic careers like teaching and research and particularly training. English language training is a big and growing sector in India with jobs freelance and full-time options as an English language trainer or a voice and accent trainer. English can also help in being a part of call centres, TV, Radio, reporting and also in the advertising industry. You can also work in an embassy. I hope it helps. Please feel free to revert. Wish you luck.
