Review of Vivekananda College of Polytechnic.

Placements: Placements were not provided in our college as the students were undergraduates. Students get less placement opportunities in our course as most of them opt for higher studies.

Infrastructure: Labs were well-developed and well-maintained labs. All the classrooms were under CCTV surveillance. Hostel was well-maintained and hygienic.

Faculty: Teachers in our college were well trained, good, and helpful to students. They conducted tests frequently to check the students' capabilities.

Other: I chose this course because I loved machines and wanted to learn more about machines. Events, sports, and extracurricular activities are frequently organised in our college.

Placements: Almost 55-60% of students got placed in our college. They got joining letters from selected companies. The salary package offered ranges between 2.5 LPA - 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Tech Mahindra and L&T. The top role offered is a supervisor.

Infrastructure: Our college building has 3 floors. Labs are provided at the entrance of the college gate. Our college provides us with facilities for sports like volleyball, badminton, and kabaddi. The library is available in our college, and it has reference books.

Faculty: Our department faculty members are well-qualified. They have good knowledge and experience. The teaching quality is excellent. They make students industry-ready. The highest pass percentage is 78%.

I am very satisfied with this college.

Placements: Almost 50% of students got placed in our course. This course was very good for placements. The average salary package offered was 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Infosys, Wipro, IBM, and TCS. Around 60% of students got internships in companies like Infosys, TCS, and IBM. Top roles offered were system engineer and developer.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was very good. All facilities were better. We had a huge library, and several books were available. The laboratory was huge. All types of equipment were available. Wi-Fi was available in our college. Hostels were clean. The food quality was better. We had a canteen. The mess was average. Medical facilities were provided.

Faculty: Teachers were very helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was good. They explained every topic very well. The course curriculum was relevant to make students ready for the industry. Semester exams were difficult, but our teachers made it easy. The pass percentage was 92.5%.

Other: I chose this course because of its better placements. Our college should improve its faculty members. Events, programs, and fests were conducted in our college. Scholarships were provided to merit students. Extracurricular activities were held in our college. Our college provided good placements in 2019. Sports and games were conducted in our college.

It has a very good campus life.

Placements: There were no placements in our college but students were given few opportunities based on their qualification. We have to grab internships ourselves. The management will not help us during placements.

Infrastructure: Facilities were very good in our college. The infrastructure was better. Laboratory was also well-maintained. Wi-Fi was not allowed on our phones in this college. Sports and extracurricular activities were good.

Faculty: Teachers were very helpful. They taught us very well. The syllabus was also helpful. Our faculty members arrange workshops for better interaction. They were also friendly with us. Semester exams were hard. If we study properly, we can score good marks.

Infrastructure: The maintenance was good. Facilities and infrastructure were excellent. Classrooms, labs, and grounds were very clean. They provided food. Medical and sports facilities were available.

Faculty: The teaching quality was good. They helped us with all problems related to the subjects. The pass percentage was above 70%. Teachers behaved decently. Faculty members are good. They interact with students in a free and friendly manner.

Candidate should be a citizen of India. Candidates must have passed 10th level Examination conducted by State Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana or another examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Secondary Education, A.P/TS. such as Central Board of SecondaryEducation (CBSE), Indian Council for Secondary Education (ICSE), National Institute of Open School (NIOS), Telangana Open School Society (TOSS), A.P. Open School Society (APOSS), X class examination conducted by various State Boards of Secondary Education in India with Mathematics as one of the subjects, and obtained at least 35% marks in the qualifying examination. Candidates must have passed in all subjects including Mathematics, Biology, Physics, Chemistry with a minimum of 35% Marks in each subject. Candidates who appeared or are appearing for 10th or equivalent examination being held in March/April-2024, and whose results are yet to be declared can also appear for POLYCET-2024. There is no age restriction for appearing for POLYCET-2024. Working Employee candidate should bring NOC from the respective organizations.
