TS POLYCET Counselling 2026: Dates, Choice Filling, Seat Allotment, Documents Required

The below-mentioned steps are involved in the TS POLYCET counselling process.

Online filing of Basic Information and Slot Booking

Candidates who are assigned ranks in the TS POLYCET exam have to register for the online counselling process. To register, candidates have to fill in some basic details in the form. After that, candidates have to pay the processing fee as applicable. Candidates then have to book the slots to appear for certificate verification at the helpline centres. Students have to select the helpline centre, date and time to attend the certificate verification process.

Document Verification

As per the slots booked by the candidates, the candidates have to visit the helpline centres for document verification. Candidates must carry all the certificates in their original format to the centre.

Exercise Options

Candidates then have to enter the choice of courses and institutes online.

Allotments of Seats

As per the ranks of the candidates in TS POLYCET 2026 and the options exercised by them, the course and institute are allotted to them. Candidates can download the allotment order from their candidate login.

Payment of Fees & Reporting at Polytechnic

Candidates who are satisfied with the allotment have to confirm their seats by reporting at the allotted college and paying the fees. 

To exercise options in the TS POLYCET counselling 2026 choice-filling process, students have to follow the method given below.

• Immediately after Certificate Verification, the Login ID is sent to the candidate's registered Mobile Number.
• Download the list of colleges/branches/districts from the website tgpolycet.nic.in.
• Next, take the printout of the Manual Option Entry Form from the website.
• Thereafter, candidates have to log in and enter the options on the website by referring to the Manual Option Entry Form prepared by them.
• Candidates are advised to exercise options carefully in the order of priority. The order of priority of options is an important criterion in securing the seat. The candidate has to exercise as many options as possible to avoid the disappointment of not getting a seat. Candidates can exercise and modify the options any number of times within the scheduled dates.
• Take a printout of the final options saved for reference.

The authority announced the TS POLYCET seat allotment 2025 for the internal sliding round on August 5. The seat allotment for TS POLYCET 2025 is available on the website, tgpolycet.nic.in. To check the seat allotment status, the candidates have to enter their login ID, hall ticket number, password and date of birth. To confirm their admission, the students must pay the required fee online, i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card. The online self-reporting process also has to be completed before the final date. No other mode is used to declare the seat allotment.

Eligibility for admission via TS POLYCET 2025 counselling is given below.

• The candidate should be an Indian National.
• The candidate should belong to the State of Telangana /Andhra Pradesh.
• Candidates should have passed the SSC Examination conducted by the State Board of Secondary Education, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh or any other examination recognised as equivalent thereto by the Board of Secondary Education, TS/AP
• Candidates belonging to NIOS/TOSS/APOSS/CBSE/ICSE/Other Examinations recognised as equivalent to SSC by Telangana State should have passed all the subjects, including Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, with a minimum of 35% Marks in each subject.
• There is no age restriction for seeking admission into Diploma Courses in Polytechnics.

Originals with 3 sets of photocopies have to be submitted at the time of admission.

• Memo of Marks of SSC or its equivalent Examination.
• Community Certificate from Revenue Authorities, issued by officers, not below the rank of Mandal Revenue Officer (MRO) in respect of BC, SC and ST candidates.
• Certificate showing the Date of Birth.
• POLYCET Hall ticket and Rank Card.
• Certificate of study for the entire period of education from Class IV to X.
• Caste and category certificates as needed.
