    Top-class faculty but placement is an issue.
    Placements: The placements were just negligible for our batch. The classmates who got placed were only due to their personal efforts and very few got their jobs from campus placements. Around 20% can be counted as placed in our batch for which the salary was around 20K-30K. One of the renowned companies, TCS, visited for the placements which selected 2-3 students for the further process. A job fair was organised in which so many companies were there for recruitment. The roles offered were basically for software engineers.
    Infrastructure: The campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled. The labs are well-maintained, the classrooms are big and airy and the library is open until evening. The teachers are co-operative in case of any medical emergency. Sports and games facilities are also good. The canteen food quality is fine but very fewer varieties are available for the youngsters. CCD is there on the roof which offers things at pocket-friendly prices. The hostel rooms are congested. In my time, there were four girls in one room. The food in the hostel is just fine. There is a fixed menu for the whole week, which includes Chinese, South Indian, veg, non-veg, sweets, etc. I didn't face any issue while being there for continuous three years.
    Faculty: The faculty is very co-operative and helpful but their communication skills are very bad. They will speak in English but you will feel like they are delivering the lecture in some other foreign language. Some faculty members are true treasures of knowledge and concepts. It's up to the students how much they can absorb. The most used teaching method is PPT. The student-faculty ratio is generally 40:1. There were some trips organized to give us true industry exposure and the curriculum was designed in a nice way.
    Other: All in all, it was a nice experience for me to get a degree from BVP. But placements are an issue on which they are already working hard. I have learned many things and have developed a lot.
