The CUSAT CAT cutoff is the minimum rank at which candidates are allotted a branch. The CUSAT CAT cutoff is different for each course and college. The authority will announce the cutoff of CUSAT CAT after each round of counselling.

The CUSAT CAT passing marks for the BTech exam is 10 marks in maths and 10 marks in physics and chemistry combined. However, Kerala SC and ST candidates do not have a minimum passing mark.

As per the CUSAT CAT marking scheme, candidates will get 3 marks for every correct answer while 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect response.

The total duration of the CUSAT CAT exam is 3 hours. However, the authorities have set subject-wise time limit for the online test. The Physics section will be conducted in the first 60 minutes, the Chemistry section will be held in the next 45 minutes and finally the mathematics section for 75 minutes.
