Symbiosis Entrance Test for Design is the means through which aspirants can secure admission in various design disciplines that are offered at Symbiosis Institute of Design.
SEED Exam is a design aptitude test that comprises of objective type multiple choice questions wherein aspirants are evaluated on grounds such as visual observations, general design awareness, colour, geometry, creative thinking abilities and the likes.
SID offers a total of 207 seats for admission in different design disciplines on the basis of a candidate’s performance in Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design (SEED). Out of this number, 180 seats are on offer to Indian students and the remaining 27 are available to international students. The M.Des program at SID will be delivered in a hybrid mode. Classes will be available in both online and offline modes. Also, classes will be weekends and evenings.

SID doesn't offer any short term / distance courses. The institute presently offers only full time Under- Graduate degree courses.
At the UG level, the institute offers a regular B.Des program, while a hybrid M.Des program is offered at the PG level.
Admission to both courses will be through the SEED
