What is the difference between COMEDK UGET and Uni Gauge?- Applicants often get confused while applying for the COMEDK and Uni-Gauge exams. These two entrances are conducted every year for admissions to engineering colleges. To decide which entrance exam to appear for, it is important to understand what scope to the exams have. The COMEDK UGET and Uni-Gauge exams are held on the same day. Admission through the COMEDK UGET exam is done through the centralised COMEDK counselling process. However, admission based on the Uni-Guage exam is managed by the individual participating institutes. When we talk about Uni-Gauge and COMEDK differences, the basic contrast lies in their participating institutes. Both exams have separate lists of participating institutes. How many exams do candidates have to appear for if he/she wants to apply for both COMEDK UGET and Uni-GAUGE exam? 

The exam authorities conduct a single exam for COMEDK UGET and Uni-Gauge. The exam is conducted annually as an online computer-based test. Previously, both exams were conducted as 2 separate exams. On the scheduled day, these two exams will be conducted on the “Same Day” during the “Same Session” and as “One Combined Exam”. This also helps candidates to prepare and attend multiple exams.  

COMEDK UGET Application Form 2026

The Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka will release the COMEDK application form on the official website. Applicants looking for admission to engineering courses can fill COMEDK UGET application form at comedk.org. The application process of COMEDK UGET 2026 comprises registration, filling form, uploading documents and payment of the fee. While filling out the COMEDK UGET application form, candidates can decide to pay the registration fee for only the COMEDK or both the COMEDK and Uni-Gauge exams.
