Even with low BITSAT scores, one can get good colleges

Getting low scores in any competitive exam is not an end of life. Consider exploring other options like subsequent counselling sessions, admission in other colleges, reappearing for the competitive exam and so on.
Every student gives exams at every level in their life. Some do well while others are not able to secure desired marks. In such a situation, do not get demotivated as this is not the end.
First of all, if your scores are low score then wait for the last counselling session especially the spot round. Many students wait for the last counselling session and some of them even get their choice of the branch in their desired college. In the spot round, in case some seats remained vacant in a college then the college authority give those seats to the students who are live present at the campus itself according to their rankings. In the spot round, students need to be live present at that campus, so wait for the spot round.
There are other opportunities as well like several other colleges give admission without considering BITSAT like VIT, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal, etc. and these are also good colleges. The students could also take admission in top NITs if they have scored well in the JEE-Main.
There are several other colleges which give admission easily even with a low score such as IPU Colleges and believe me, these are good colleges.
In the end, it all depends on you how well you are doing in your college life. Some students feel that this college is not for them and do not want to take admission in a particular college, then these students could consider dropping a year too, this would be beneficial only if the student has confidence that they could crack the exam with good marks. Sometimes dropping a year proves to be a good decision while other times it’s not. It all differs from person to person. So, in such a scenario, take a wise decision.
There are some private colleges like UPE, Chandigarh University, Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran, etc. Another option is to take admission in any of the above listed private colleges and in the first year itself, start preparing for your college entrance exam, i.e. BITSAT or JEE Main and work harder this time. Here, only two things would happen, one is you would get a college of your choice and another you would not. In the first scenario, nothing is required as getting admission in the desired college is what every student dream for. In the latter case, consider any of the options discussed above. Always keep in mind that placement depends on you, not your college.
