B.E. / B.Tech	Candidate must have passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology from a recognised university and secured 45% (40% for OBC/ SC/ ST) in it.
M.E./M.Tech	Candidate must have completed B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent degree (Aeronautical/Aerospace / Mechanical /Marine Engineering /Mechatronics/ Naval Architecture)/AMIE in Mechanical from a UGC recognised University/ Institute. Preference will be given to GATE qualified candidates over TS PGECET qualified candidates. Candidate must have secured 50% marks in group subjects taken together in the qualifying examination (45% for reserved category).
MBA/PGDM	Candidate must have passed Bachelor Degree (BA / B.Com/ B.Sc/ BBA / BBM / BCA / BE / B.Tech / B. Pharmacy / Any 3 or 4 year Degree except Oriental Languages). Examinations of minimum three years duration with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of reserved categories) in the qualifying examinations. Final year appearing students may also apply on provisional basis. The minimum age of the candidates should be 19 years as on the date of notification (Candidates whose date of Birth up to 30th MARCH, 2003). No maximum age limit.

For admission to MLR Institute of Technology for M.Tech, it is mandatory for candidate to have a valid GATE scores.
