While comparing the COEP and JSPMU, it is seen that the admission process of both is pretty same. The students must have passed 12 Class with a science stream to get admission in both. Both the universities accept exams like JEE/MHT CET for taking admission in BTech. The JSPM university offers 11 specialised subjects with approximately 1140 seats, while COEP offers 10 specialised subjects with approximately 758 seats. But the score requirements for entrance test are different in both the universities. COEP is a government university, the competition is higher to get admission, while in JSPM university the admission is easy as it is merit based.
Candidates seeking admission should first check that they meet the eligibility requirements. The applications are accepted of candidates who have passed Class 12 or equivalent with required minimum aggregate. Admission to its BE programmes is done based on marks in accepted entrance exams. The course aspirants can apply with a valid score of JEE Main/MHT CET or other national-level exams (as per JSPM guidelines). Candidates can register or fill out admission enquiry form available on the official website. After application scanning, a cutoff list may be released along with provisional merit list. The merit list students can confirm their seats by paying the admission fee amount.
