Candidates need to appear for JEE Main to get admission in NIT Manipur BTech. Hence, aspirants need to fulfil the eligibility criteria set for JEE Main to apply for BTech course. Below is detailed eligibility for NIT Manipur BTech:
- There is no age limit for appearing in JEE Main.
- Candidates need to pass Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry/ and any one subject among Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational Subject with at least 75% aggregate to apply for JEE Main for NIT Manipur BTech.
IIIT Manipur offers a four-year BTech programme at the UG level. Admission to the programme is based on JEE Main rank, followed by Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) Counselling. The institute-specific qualifying cutoff is announced after the declaration of JEE Main result to manage the seat allotment process. The seat allotment process is based on the college cutoff and the candidate's preference for courses and colleges. The cutoffs are generally declared in seven rounds of JoSAA Counselling based on opening and closing ranks for each of the programme-specific specialisations.
The cutoffs are further divided into gender and various categories such as SC, ST, OBC, PwD, etc.
