Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka has released the COMEDK UGET 2024 application form on February 1 at the official website. The last date to fill the COMEDK UGET application form 2024 was April 10. The application form is available in online mode only. Applicants are not allowed to fill COMEDK UGET application form in offline mode. 

The total seats offered for B.E. / B.Tech at NITTE Meenakshi Institute of Technology and Acharya Institute of Technology are 1200 and 1140, respectively. While NITTE Meenakshi Institute of Technology offers this course in 11 specialisations, Acharya Institute of Technology offers the same in 13 specialisations. Karnataka KCET is accepted at UVCE Bangalore for BTech admissions. For the 2025 session, the exam was conducted on April 16, 2025. The KCET results 2025 were announced on Aug 1, 2025. B.Arch	Candidate who have passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognised Institute/ University can also apply. Candidates appearing for 10+3 Diploma with Mathematics in the current year may also provisionally appear for NATA-2023.
M.E./M.Tech	Candidates must have passed qualifying examination or equivalent examination as prescribed by the Competent Authority and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks (45% of marks in case of SC, ST and Category-I candidates) taken together in all the subjects of all the years/ semesters of the Degree Examination from any recognised institute/university. Final year students can also apply on provisional basis. Candidates must have valid GATE score.
After 10th Diploma	Candidate must have passed Grade 10, SSLC or its equivalent with a minimum of 35% marks from a recognised board/institute.

Yes, Candidates who wish to become a professor after BTech in Electrical Engineering will also be required to complete MTech and PhD in the required discipline.They must clear GATE in order to pursue M.Tech and later pursue PhD in the same discipline.
