Yes, Candidates who wish to become a professor after BTech in Electrical Engineering will also be required to complete MTech and PhD in the required discipline.They must clear GATE in order to pursue M.Tech and later pursue PhD in the same discipline. General Eligibility: To be eligible for a BTech course under the PSG College of Technology, a General Category candidate should have obtained a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM).
Reserved Category Relaxation: Candidates from the BC, MBC, SC, or ST categories should have a minimum aggregate of 40% marks in PCM to be considered for BTech.
