Yes, candidates can take direct admission in UG and Diploma courses at Amrut Institute. For Diploma engineering, direct entry into the second year is also available for qualified Polytechnic candidates.

 Candidates seeking admission to BTech at IIT Gandhinagar are expected to qualify both JEE Main and JEE Advanced and further go through JoSAA counselling to secure admission. However, getting final admission only on the basis of JEE Main score, is not possible. In addition, to be eligible for the BTech programme, candidates must have passed their Class 12 with 75% aggregate. As far as I know, direct admission is not possible, but not sure though. For admission in institute of technology, the university considers the JEE percentile or the GUJCET percentile. On the basis of the merit score of the student, he/she is alloted a branch. It then depends on the student whether he/she wants to accept the offered branch or wait and see if their branch gets upgraded.

The Marwadi University and Atmiya University are both relatively new universities founded in 2008 and 2018 respectively. As compared to MU, AU is very new, hence it is still needs to be developed.

So, MU has a better placement record than AU. Thus, we can say Marwadi University is better than Atmiya University.
