Shobhit University Gangoh was established in 2012 and is ranked 57th by India Today 2023 under the University (Private) category,  101-125 by NIRF 2023 under the Pharmacy category,  and 119 by Outlook 2023 under the Engineering (Private) category. At the UG level, the university offers BTech and other courses to students. Getting admission to the BTech course at Shobhit University Gangoh is not quite difficult for hardworking students. 

The institute has not released the placement report incorporating the overall data for the 2026 drive. However, the institute have disclosed the 2026 placement statistics till Phase I.
