Yes, Aligarh Muslim University admission to most of the courses is based on CUET scores. Admission to AMU undergraduate courses including  BSc (Hons.) Community Science, BA (Hons/Research), BVoc in Production Technology, Polymer and Coating Technology and Fashion Design & Garment Technology and BSc (Hons/Research) is completely based on valid Central University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) scores. Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology offers M.Tech in Nanotechnology as a full-time regular course lasting for two years. The course curriculum is spread across four semesters which covers important subjects like the Basics of Nanoscience, Nanomaterial Synthesis and Characterization, Optical and Electron Microscopy, Nanosensors, and Nanophotonics, etc. The qualification required for ZHCET M.Tech Nanotechnology admission is as follows:

• BTech or its equivalent examination in any branch of Engineering with not less than 60% in aggregate or its equivalent CPI/CGPA/NAG
• MSc (Physics / Chemistry/Life Science) with not less than 60% aggregate. 

In the post-graduation programme M.Tech, based on ranking and eligibility, students are allowed to pursue the course of their choice from one of the 6 schools of VIT.

The applicants should apply online on the website by paying a non-refundable application fee of Rs.1200/- (rupees thousand two hundred only) (Including GST).

The applicants should register for VITMEE, a Computer Based Objective test at indicated test centres.

The list of short-listed candidates will be published in the website or personal SMS will be sent to the registered mobile number for online counselling.

Short-listed Candidates will be asked to choose the preference of campus and branch. Selected candidates will have to pay an advance payment of Rs. 1 lakh.

Candidates who fail to pay the advance before deadline, will not be considered for admission.
