Admission to BTech MIT Manipal is based on a mandatory entrance test, i.e., Manipal Entrance Test MET followed by online/physical counselling sessions. This exam is conducted every year in 3 phases. The National Institute of Engineering (NIE) in Mysore admits students to its undergraduate engineering programs via three separate entrance exams: JEE Main (UG), COMEDK, and CET.
