Very nice courses with better placements.
Placements: Most of the students are placed in better companies which help them to build their career. The students are placed in roles like data scientist, full-stack web developer, programmatic AI program, front-end developer, back-end developer, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college has very good infrastructure with high-speed internet connection. It has proper labs with the latest technology equipment. Classrooms are very well maintained which helps for interactive sessions for the better understanding of the classes which helps us to concentrate.
Faculty: Teachers are well-experienced and knowledgeable. They make us understand concepts very clearly with simple examples. They teach us industry-level projects which makes us industry-level readiness which is very crucial for this generation because of the competition.

It's a good college for placements.
Placements: As a developer, software engineer, and associate engineer, many positions were offered by the college. Non-teaching roles were also provided in this college, which was a great experience. The percentage of students was 60%. The highest package offered was 10 LPA, and the lowest was 2.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The food, canteen, games, and sports were the best. In college, we had labs for practice, classrooms, a library, and a doubt section. Many facilities were provided by the college to students. In the hostel, the food quality was very good and very hygienic. The hostel was well maintained and good.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful. Their qualifications were in Masters. They were well-experienced lecturers, and their knowledge was also very good. The teaching quality was excellent. Semester exams were easy to crack, and there were no difficulties in the exams. The pass percentage was above 60%.
Other: Activities also good.

Change the approach towards education.
Placements: There is such a low percentage of placements. Out of 750 students, only 100–120 get placed, with most jobs offered by TCS. The highest package is 9 LPA offered by TCS, and the lowest is 2 LPA offered by Cognizant. Internships are mostly namesake, provided by training institutions rather than legitimate companies. The top internship is offered to only one student by Texas Instruments, with a stipend of Rs. 45,000 per month.
Infrastructure: Labs are very old-school not much quality and upgrades. Equipment is transferred from here to there. I understand that some old tools are necessary for learning basics, but completely driving into them alone is the route to irrelevant. The hostel food is decent, and rooms are also very mid-level. The canteen is managed by a private family and is very much better for that price. The medical facilities are well. Sports are a hit or miss, while good training and coaching are provided, but for normal students to try their luck there is not much encouragement. Wi-Fi facility is bad.
Faculty: Most teachers are egoistic and not much well-versed in their subjects. In some labs, attenders explain concepts better than the Ph.D. holders. The overall approach is very old-school, with no real encouragement for gaining knowledge, it's all about marks. The curriculum is most nonsensical, including random subjects out of MBA content, that too in a very washed syllabus. Exams are easy only if the model paper is helpful, otherwise, VTU papers are very weird.
Other: I chose Electronics and Communication branch. The best thing about it is the subject itself, it's very diverse and realistic even in today’s AI time. Its logical approach and working is a marvel to study unless you have a boring lecturer. But, 1 out of 10 teachers is usually of good quality. The college needs better outreach and strategy to make students care about the stream, rather than forcing random webinars. The campus is very peaceful and located in a quiet hilly area, giving off a very old-school vibe. Events are not bad according to tier-2 city college standards, they do their best.

A brief review of JNNCE, Shimoga.
Placements: After the 6th semester, students are eligible to participate in placements. More than 60% of students get placed. Most startups come for hiring. Every year, TCS conducts mass hiring, in which they hire students in bulk. Students from technical branches get placed more.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure-wise, college is good. Every branch has its building and separate labs. The campus is large and full of greenery. A cricket ground, throwball court, and indoor game facilities are present. The canteen is also present inside campus.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, as most of them are Ph.D. graduates. The teaching quality is also good. In every semester, there are 2-3 internal tests for both lab and theory subjects, along with one final and external exam. There are a total of 8 semesters for engineering.
Other: I have chosen computer science and engineering as it is one of the most booming sectors in India. One thing I wish would be better about the course is that it concentrates more on the practical parts rather than the theoretical part. In the college, every year there is a college fest called Janvey, which includes ethnic day and musical night, different events including both technical and non-technical events, sports, etc., where students can showcase their talents and win prizes.

Electronics and Telecommunication, our branch, is very straightforward and clear, so it depends.
Placements: It depends on the department they are studying in. In my department, as I've observed, the strength was around 60+, and among them, 15-16 members got their placements. The highest package was from TCS at 12 LPA, some received 6 LPA, and the lowest was around 2.4 LPA. Almost 40-50 percent of the students got their placements. Top roles included field engineer, team leads, etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available in our department are good. All equipment, including technical equipment for the lab, is well-organized, in good condition, and works efficiently. There are minimal errors while conducting experiments with the lab equipment. There are enough computers for students to use, and the library is very spacious and large, with the capacity to accommodate 100-150 students at once. We have an in-college canteen, which is a bit overpriced these days, but the food is good.
Faculty: When it comes to my friends most of the lectures are very friendly and help a lot in studying and provide enough research to prepare for the exam. In the other colleges and top 10 will always be from our college so to be fair our college's department is good. Some exams are difficult but as the lectures provide enough research we can read and score good marks.
Other: It was too late when I decided to join this college. I wanted to join Electronics and Communication, but instead, I got Electronics and Telecommunication. Since that was the case, I was willing to join the Electrical course, but I chose this course instead. Every year, Janvi is held as an event, and many technical and non-technical competitions are conducted. There is a separate placement and scholarship department where we can get scholarships and placements with the help of the college itself. The college surroundings are very green, with many trees on our campus.

Our college provides quality courses, curriculum relevance, and expert faculty members.
Placements: 10 members got placed in our course. The highest package is 4.9 LPA, and the lowest package is 3.5 LPA. The average package is 4.3 LPA. The top recruiting company of our course is UltraTech. 90% of students got internships in Igeeks, CJ Technologies. Abeyaantrix Softlab Opc Pvt Ltd., Zephyr Technologies and Solutions Pvt Ltd., Sirintel Technologies Pvt Ltd., Logic Computer Centre, Coastal Institute Of Technology, Adhamya Tec Solutions and New Technology.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful to students. They are very talented. My branch teachers are like family members. They taught us everything in a written manner. There are a lot of exams in the college.
Other: I chose this course because in the civil course, we get a government job or we can start our own business. Events are organised in every batch. My college is very budget-friendly. The fee is very genuine. Our college provides scholarships according to the capability of a student. I suggest everyone to my college in terms of budget. In terms of budget, I would rate 10 out of 10. In my city, there are a lot of colleges, but I chose this college because my cousin sister, and brother completed their education at this college. They shared positive reviews of my college with me, which attracted me to this college. Our college organises a lot of events for students and a lot of activities, which help students to maintain a balance between their studies and social life. The college organises a lot of HR conclaves and seminars which motivate students for their future.
