Maya Devi University provides various undergraduate, postgraduate, and Diploma programmes under 11 schools of study. The college is mainly concerned with streams such as Engineering, Management, Commerce, Computer Applications, Journalism & Mass Communication, etc. The flagship programmes offered at the Maya Devi University are BTech and MTech. These courses are offered to students for a duration of 4 and 2 years, respectively. 

In the Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme, a student gets his/her tuition fee waived as per the following criteria.

Full Tuition Fee Waiver– Offered to the most economically backward students having a family income of less than INR 1 LPA during the previous financial year or current assessment year.

2/3 Tuition Fee Waiver– Offered to economically backward students having a family income in the range of INR 1 LPA to INR 5 LPA during the previous financial year or current assessment year

The Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme is available only for the normal duration of the programme. For dual degree programmes, it is available only up to the 4th year.

Admission to NIT Uttarakhand is based on the entrance exams, followed by an interview or counselling. For UG course such as BTEch, the university accepts JEE MAIN score and for PG course such as MTech, NIT Uttarakhand accepts the merit scores of GATE exam. Other than these, the university expanded the variety of courses recently including Communication English, Social Sciences, Literature and Cinema, Screenwriting and Creative Writing. Admission to these courses are based on CUET scores or merit-based scores. Final seat allocation is done through counseling sessions such as CCMT, CCMN, and others. 

Haridwar University Roorkee has an anti ragging cell. The ragging cell is responsible from preventing ragging, monitoring activities and addressing complaints through various means by filling a form copmplaint to the commity. 

DIT is not a Tier 1 university. It is generally considered a Tier 2 private university. Tier 1 universities are IITs, IIITs, and others. The university is ranked at 83rd position under the Pharmacy category by the NIRF 2025. DIT university has also been ranked at the 21st position by the Week for the year 2025 for B.Arch.
