Institute of Hotel Management, Hajipur, an initiative of the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, has been in operation since 1998. It offers admissions to students from India as well as international students from SAARC countries. IHM Hajipur is one of the 21 central institutes directly controlled by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, and is affiliated with the National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology (NCHM&CT), Noida.
Through Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi, the Institute awards three-year BSc in Hospitality & Hotel Administration. Diploma in Food Production and Diploma in Food & Beverage Service are also offered by IHM Hajipur. The institute also training in 3 programmes under “Hunar se Rojgar” scheme: 6 weeks F&B Service, 8 weeks Food Production and 8 weeks Bakery course.
