BA Subjects and Specialisations.

Yes, IAM Kolkata does offer BA courses for a three-year undergraduate degree. The institute provides two specialisations in BA courses i.e., BA in Tourism Studies and BA in Hospitality Management. The admission process for both the courses is similar in that candidates are required to complete the basic eligibility criteria i.e., candidates must qualify their Class 12 with English as one of the main subjects and after qualifying for the basic eligibility criteria, students are required to appear in the entrance exam followed by Group discussion and personal interview. 

GNIHM JET Exam is conducted four times in a year. JET is conducted by GNIHM in the month of January, April, May and June. GNIHM JET 2026 will be held in several phases throughout the year. The exam will be held in online mode as well as, at designated test centres. Candidates can register for GNIHM JET 2026 as per the next slot available in a month.  GNIHM JET comprises of a total of 65 questions. Out of this number, 60 are multiple-choice in nature and the remaining five are subjective/descriptive questions.

Sister Nivedita University offers seats in most of the programmes based on entrance-exam scores. SNUET is a common entrance exam conducted for all the UG & PG courses by the university. However, the university also accepts scores of national or state-level entrance exams such as WBJEE, GATE, etc. for specific programmes.
