The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has released the BSEB exam pattern 2020 for class 12th Humanities stream. The BSEB exam pattern will help the students in getting an insight into the marking scheme and the type of questions that will be asked in the BSEB 12th exam 2020. Students preparing for the BSEB 12th examination must go through the BSEB exam pattern 2020 carefully and plan out their study schedule accordingly.

As per the released schedule, the BSEB 12th exams are scheduled to take place from February 3 till February 13, 2020.

The BSEB 12th Humanities stream requires selecting a total of 6 subjects including two languages, and other subjects specified under the list of the Humanities subjects that study human society and culture. Out of the total exam marks, 70 or 80 marks are allocated to the written exams while the remaining marks are allocated to the Project Work. Even the textbooks published by NCERT are considered to be ideal to prepare for BSEB Class 12th Humanities as the majority of the topics do overlap. Usually, the pattern for BSEB Class 12th Exams for Humanities subjects is similar. The exam comprises:

  • 20 Objective type (one-word answer) questions of 1 mark each
  • 4 Short Answer type questions of 3 marks each
  • 3 Source-based questions of 6 marks each
  • 3 Long Answer type questions of 8 marks each
