Assam University accepts admission through various national-level, state-level & university-level entrance exams. CUET-UG is also one of those entrance exams that Assam University enrol candidates. 

Students need to prepare well for the CUET-UG exam because only those candidates can register further for the admission process whose rank or scorecard will be within the range specified by the university, i.e. merit list, which will be released on Assam University's official website. 

Apart from CUET-UG, there are several other gateway exams for admission to Assam University, such as JEE-Main, CAT, WSAT, CUCET, etc.

IIT JAM 2026 counselling schedule is out. The Round 1 seat allotment result will be announced on May 25, 2026. The counselling registration will begin in March 27, 2026.

Assam Down Town Universityranks 233 out of 272 colleges in 2023. It offers total of 64 courses at the diploma, UG and PG.

The annual educational fees of Assam Down Town University are -

• B.Pharma - Rs.1.6 Lakhs per annum 
• B.Tech  - Rs.1.1 Lakhs per annum
• Diploma - Rs. 90,000 per annum
• B.Sc - Rs. 1 Lacs per annum
• BBA - Rs.90,000 per annum
• B.P.T - Rs. 1.3 Lacs per annum 
• B.Pharma - Rs. 1.1 Lacs per annum 

The eligibility criteria of all the courses are completing of 10+2. And, for B.Pharma the eligibility criteria is completing of D.Pharma.

Admission criteria to Gauhati University is both, merit and entrance based and is different for all UG and PG programmes. To get into UG programmes, the eligibility criteria is the minimum aggregate in Class 12 or equivalent, along with valid entrance scores for selective courses. However, the eligibility criteria to get into PG programmes is graduation in any discipline (this may vary from course to course), along with entrance exams for a few courses.

The total number of seats available for the DPharm course of Royal Global University is 60. The seat allotment is based on the applicants' performance in the last qualified exam (Class 12/equivalent) and a personal interview. It must be noted that the mentioned seat intake is taken from the official website of the univeristy/sanctioning body. It is still subject to changes and hence, is indicative.
