TS LAWCET 2025 Dress Code & Exam Day Guidelines
Candidates appearing for the TS LAWCET 2025 or AP PGLCET 2025 must carefully read the important exam day guidelines to avoid the last-minute stress and delays. Follow the guidelines as mentioned below for a smooth exam day:
TS LAWCET question paper will be set both in English and Telugu or English and Urdu. Candidates will be given option to choose the language as per their preferences. The Telangana LAWCET exam will comprise the questions majorly from three subjects namely GK & Mental Ability, Current Affairs, and Aptitude for the Study of Law.

It is advised to reach the exam hall at least 30-60 minutes before the exam commences. This may help candidates to easily reach the exam hall and locate their seats.

Candidates will be asked to show their admit card during the process while entering the exam hall, candidates not in possession of the exam hall ticket will not be allowed to sit for the exam.

The candidate will have to carry:
(i) Black / Blue Ball Point Pen
(ii) Hall Ticket and
(iii) Filled in Online Application Form
(iv) ID proof (Aadhar Card/Voter ID/PAN Card/Passport).
There are a total of 120 questions in the TS LAWCET question paper. Following is the segregation of marks for each section:
- General Knowledge & Mental Ability: 30 questions
- Current Affairs: 30 questions
- Aptitude for the Study of Law: 60 questions
The Aptitude for the Study of Law is the most important section of the TS LAWCET exam because majority of the questions are asked in this section and it carries a weightage of equal to 60 marks out 120 marks.

In TGCHE LAWCET 2026 exam, the questions will be asked from the three sections namely, General Knowledge with sub topics including- History, Geography, Economics, Logical Reasoning, and Environmental Science. However, Mental Ability may include Syllogism, Number and Series, Puzzles, Algebra, Blood relation, and direction-based questions. Second section will comprise of current affairs questions including - events and news of national and international importance (past one year). The third section will comprise Aptitude for the study of law including topics such as elementary knowledge about law subjects, Principles of law, and Questions about Constitutions of India, constitutional rights
Candidates can also keep a transparent water bottle with them to the exam hall. The exam authorities will validate the admit card with a valid ID proof.
- Do not bring any kind of Study Material
Carrying any kind of study material inside the exam hall will lead to the disqualification of the candidate from the exam hall.
- Dress Code to be followed: The important instructions related to what to wear and what not to on the exam day will be mentioned on the admit card by the exam authorities. Students may wear comfortable, easy-to-handle, weather-friendly clothes on the exam day. However, layer on layer clothes should be avoided.
- Filled-in-Online TS LAWCET/ PGLCET 2025 Application Form should be kept ready by affixing a photograph duly attested by a Gazetted Officer/ Principal of the college where studied and also provide left hand thumb impression using a stamp pad in the space provided well in advance, and hand over this to the invigilator after signing in the presence of the invigilator.

Candidates should abstain from having the following items inside TS LAWCET Exam Hall which may lead to restriction of entry to the exam hall:
- Calculators,
- Mathematical/Log Tables,
- Pagers,
- Cell Phones,
- Watches,
- Large Spectacles,
- Heavy Gold Ornaments,
- Card Holders,
- Wallets any other Electronic Gadgets(including Keys)
- Written study material, books and personal notes
- Valuable devices or personal belongings
- Food items or beverages
Candidates who are giving the TS LAWCET/ PGLCET exam will have to follow the exam day guidelines and dress code to easily enter the exam hall and avoid any disruption during the exam.
TS LAWCET 2025 Question Booklet Instructions
The general guidelines regarding the question paper for TS LAWCET and TS PGLCET is as provided below:
- The question paper will be available in two languages, namely, English and Telugu
- Read all the instructions written on the question paper booklet wisely
- The question paper will have a total of 120 objective-type questions
- The total time provided to candidates to attempt the question paper will be 90 minutes
- The question paper will have three sections - GK & Mental Ability, Current Affairs, and Aptitude for the Study of Law section
