TS LAWCET 2026 Tie Breaking Process
The cutoff marks show the last rank for admission in each category. So, the TS LAWCET cutoff list will be prepared based on the rank list. Sometimes, two or more students may get the same rank. In such cases, the tie will be broken in the following way.
- If you score higher marks in Part C (Aptitude for Study of Law), you will get a better rank.
- If the tie still remains, the one with more marks in Part B (Current Affairs) will be placed higher.
- And if the tie continues even after that, then the older candidate will be given the higher rank.
