M.A.	Candidates must have passed Graduation from a recognised university.
LL.B.	Candidate who have completed Master degree in any discipline with 45% marks in aggregate from Panjab University or any other University recognised by Bar Council of India and Panjab University are also eligible to apply. 5% concession is admissible in eligibility marks to SC/ST/BC/PwD candidate.
MCA	Candidates completed graduation of minimum 3 years duration and with Mathematics at 10+2 or at graduation level (all three Years) from any recognised institute/university are eligible to apply. OR Candidates completed B.C.A. from Panjab University are eligible to apply. OR Candidates completed B.Voc. (Software Development), B.Voc. (Hardware and Networking) & B.Voc. Multimedia (Graphics & Animation) with Mathematics at 10+2 level from any recognised institute/university are eligible to apply OR Candidates passed any examination recognised by the Panjab University Chandigarh as equivalent to any of the above examination are eligible to apply.

NMIMS Chandigarh offers direct admission in BTech second year to candidates who have passed Diploma or BTech first year with preference given to Diploma students. For all other programmes, applicants have to appear for an NMIMS entrance exam. Candidates with CLAT and SAT/ ACT scores can get admission directly in UG Law and BTech programmes, respectively.

Studies in Panjab University are at par with the leading Educational Institutes in our country. Should have passed FA/F.Sc./ A level or equivalent examination with a minimum of 55% marks. Should have passed the Law Admission Test (LAT) with 50% passing marks and with a validity date for admission. Must have appeared in the PU Admission Test conducted by Punjab University. To be eligible for the three-year PU LLB course, a candidate must have completed graduation in any discipline from a recognised university with at least 45% aggregate marks or 40% marks for SC/ST candidates.
