Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University provides very liberal entry, because the majority of its programme follows merit basis and hence it admits students after clearing eligibility conditions for most of the programs; that are undergraduate or postgraduate course. CT University is not hard to get, provided the majority of courses consider 45% to 50% of aggregate in Class 12. Punjab University Patiala offers various courses to students at UG, PG, and PhD levels. The university offers BTech and MBA programmes to students as its popular programmes. These courses are offered for a duration of 4 and 2 years, respectively. 

NMIMS Chandigarh offers direct admission in BTech second year to candidates who have passed Diploma or BTech first year with preference given to Diploma students. For all other programmes, applicants have to appear for an NMIMS entrance exam. Candidates with CLAT and SAT/ ACT scores can get admission directly in UG Law and BTech programmes, respectively.
