It's simple. An MA is a 2-year PG degree course divided into 4 semesters. The first two semesters are based on theory. The last two semesters are mostly about projects, dissertations, and internships.

This course is a blend of theory and practical knowledge, so that you can apply what you read in the real world, gain experience, and expertise.

To choose a Language for your MA course, you probably have either a PhD or a teaching role in mind. In my opinion, a UG degree in any Language is enough to land you a decent-paying job, and an MA is a sort of deep level study.

Their primary focus is on the subject you choose. An MA course will give you a deep knowledge of your specific subject. Secondly, they focus on analytical and critical thinking skills to prepare you for research-related roles or courses (PhD).

You can go for MA if you want in-depth knowledge in one subject and also want to choose teaching, research, counseling or journalism.
But it will not be good for those who just want to pass time because they don't have any other option or are without a clear goal.
