Jagan Institute of Management Studies (JIMS), sector-5, Rohini has been imparting management and technical education by adapting to the ever-changing needs of business environment since 1993. The institute offers AICTE approved and equivalent to MBA by AIU, full-time, two-year PGDM, PGDM (International Business), PGDM (Retail Management) programs to the candidates seeking career in the domain of management. The key component of our course curriculum are designed in collaboration with the insights from the industry with subjects like Design Thinking, Data Mining Through R, e-business strategy, luxury retail etc. along with functional management subjects like financial management, Contemporary issues of HR, Consumer Behaviour and so on.
JIMS, Sec-5, Rohini carefully nurtures managerial talent through round the clock action which involves a student to be an integral part of cultural activities, fests, student-driven clubs, competitions, industry/mall visits, placements preparedness, industry research projects, business plan case-studies competitions, research paper publications etc. Another highlight of the institute is its thrust towards enabling a multi-cultural environment for the students seeking admission from several states of India ranging from east to west and north to south.
Yes, the institute is approved by UGC. JIMS Rohini was set up by the Jagannath Gupta Memorial Educational Society. All the institutes under the soceity are approved by the University Grants Comission (UGC). Additionally, JIMS Rohini is also accredited by and affiliated to statuory bodies, including AICTE, AIU, NBA, and State government.
Currently, Jagan Institute of Management Studies, Rohini is running under the guidance of Dr. Pooja Jain. She has been associated with the institute for 18 years and is currently the acting director of the institute. Her areas of interest include Rural Marketing, Comsumer Behavior, Branding, and ICT applications. The institute further have 30 members as part of the core faculty.
