Life at SPJIMR, Mumbai: A candid look
In our next edition of Life at series, we caught up with Raghavan K, a current MBA student at SP Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR), Mumbai.
Chennai-based Raghavan has four years of work experience and took the GMAT exam, scoring 700 (out of 800).
Raghavan, living up to SPJIMR’s “honest” reputation, gives us a candid interview. Compared to several B-School graduates, who diplomatically answer only ‘good’ facts about their college, Raghavan was a fresh breathe of air. He discusses the good points and shortcomings of his institute quite frankly.
“Life at SP Jain is not just about great academics and research. We have football enthusiasts, table tennis enthusiasts, quizzers and various club activities,” he says. “However, I wish we had a bigger campus,” he adds.
Raghavan is a part of Samvid, the student management review journal of SPJIMR. “It is mandatory for students to be a part of some or the committee. This is a very good practice,” he says.
