SP Jain admission process includes registration, selection and admission confirmation. Aspirants can begin with registration for the course of their choice. Candidates can fill out the application form on the institute's website.

STEP 2: Selection Process
The institute shortlists candidates for PG courses based on CAT/GMAT scores + PI. Besides, the final selection is based on academic background, versatility and achievements, entrance exam and PI. For FPM, admission is based on the Research Aptitude Test followed by PI. Admission to the GMP or Global Management Programme is based on GMAT/ CAT/ XAT/ NMAT/ GRE followed by a personal interview round.
STEP 3: Admission Confirmation
Once the selection process is complete, candidates are called for document verification. Candidates must pay the SPIJMR fee to confirm a seat in the institute.

SP Jain Institute of Management and Research admission is primarily entrance-based. Candidates are first required to register for the programme of their choice. Once the registration is done, the institute shortlists candidates for admission. SP Jain shortlists candidates for PGDM/ PGPM programmes based on CAT/ GMAT scores followed by a personal interview round. Besides, the final selection is based on academic background, versatility and achievements, entrance exam and PI. For FPM, admission is based on the Research Aptitude Test followed by PI. SPJIMR FPM Admission 2026
At the doctoral level, SPJIMR offers a full-time Fellow Programme in Management (FPM). Candidates need to appear for Research Aptitude Test (RAT) and a Personal Interview conducted by the institute for admission. The final shortlisting panel will consider candidates' academic qualifications, work experience, profile, motivation, recommendations and fitness with the institute's research profile along with their mission. Candidates are also required to submit a Statement of Purpose (SOP) along with their research proposal.

FPM or Fellow Programme in Management is a four-year AICTE approve programme offered at the doctoral level by SP Jain. Candidates can pursue the programme in full-time and part-time mode depending on their requirements. Admission to the Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) at S. P. Jain Institute of Management & Research (SPJIMR) is strictly based on merit. The assessment of an applicant is on the basis of his/ her profile, the qualifying entrance scores, and the interview process. SPJIMR communicates directly with all the shortlisted candidates.
FPM shortlists candidates based on their entrance exam scores and performance in the personal interview round. The process begins with reviewing the application forms and Research Proposal. The shortlisted applicants go through a two-stage interview process – Research Aptitude Test (RAT) and Personal Interviews. Research Aptitude Test consists of two parts – General Aptitude and Research Aptitude. Besides, the institute also considers scores in CAT, GMAT, GRE, GATE or UGC-JRF. Once selection is done, provisional admission letters are issued to the selected candidates.
Candidates must pass master's degree or a Post Graduate Diploma in Management or an equivalent qualification with at least 60% aggregate or a bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology/Architecture/Pharmacy/Medicine or equivalent with at least 60% marks to apply for FPM. Other professional qualifications such as CA/ICWA/CS with a Bachelor's degree and at least 55% marks are also considered for FPM programme. Aspirants must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at the time of admission. Besides, candidates must also pass a Research Aptitude Test or have a valid score in GATE, CAT, UGC-JRF, etc. for admission to FPM programme.

SP Jain Institute of Management and Research has specified the minimum criteria for taking admission in PGDM programme. Aspirants are required to qualify GMAT for admission to PGDM course.
