Global Management Program (GMP) - Batch of 2019

I am absolutely satisfied. SPJIMR GMP provides opportunities for an international career.
Placements: After completing 6 months of course at SPJIMR, all the students study in its partner universities. Thus most of them get placed internationally. But there is no direct placement support from our college, but in-directly a lot of help is provided through networking events and career fairs. There is always a risk and problem with courses like GMP, etc., but the great alumni network of SPJIMR and GMP helps students to connect with each other and share all the possible ways for opportunities. The average salary package offered in EU (European Union) ranges from 40,000 Euros to 70,000 Euros.
Infrastructure: Students have access to all the facilities in SPJIMR, including a library, open areas, computer labs, 3D printing labs, etc. All the facilities are of high standards. Hostels have a good Wi-Fi facility and air-conditioners. There are open areas to work in groups. The food in the hostel mess is available until 2 am.
Faculty: The best thing about GMP programme is its faculty members. All of them have great industry knowledge and teaching experience. A lot of guest lectures are conducted by industry experts. Along with this, there are also international faculty members who visit the campus every year to teach various courses for students who planned to go to Germany, France and Netherlands. Language classes are also conducted on the campus for students to make them ready for their life at partner universities.
Other: I joined this course because of its great teaching pedagogy. GMP provides a dual degree, and students become alumni of both SPJIMR and partner universities. Along with this, SPJIMR's focus on value-based learning is another important aspect which distinguishes it from other B-Schools.

Global Management Program (GMP) - Batch of 2018

3Placements5Infrastructure4Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
It is a very good balance of courses, the best of schools, and value for money.
Placements: In GMP, since graduation happens at the partner university, the placement rules apply to the specific country that you are in. You have to keep in mind that international placements are not offered. So getting a job is very much dependent on how resourceful you are. However, you get conceptually very well trained at SPJIMR from your first semester and very good hands-on industry experience in the partner schools in the following semesters. The knowledge together makes you a very employable resource abroad or in India. As far as I know, almost everyone in my batch landed jobs and internships soon after graduation.
Infrastructure: The campus in Mumbai is very good in terms of amenities. It is right in the heart of the city. Even then, you get a nature-rich beautiful campus with very well-equipped classrooms and B-School infrastructure. The whole campus is Wi-Fi enabled. The canteens are available inside that let you do your group works all night. SPJIMR offers sports facilities inside and outside the campus. This changes in the partner schools as most of the partner schools have bachelor's students, and the normal college fun activities are taken up by them. Moreover, the master's program in partner universities is very close to working life which helps you learn the work ethics of the specific country even before you join the real workforce in that country. Participating in co-curricular activities is at your personal discretion as there are a lot of resources outside college that you might find more interesting to indulge in.
Faculty: SPJIMR has the best professors that the industry has to offer. You can experience a paradigm shift in how you approach problems. The group work and tasks make sure that fundamentals are well embedded in you. It is particularly helpful when you go to partner schools in the US or Europe. Most of the Indian students come with an engineering or science background in contrast to abroad, where students come from more business background. SPJIMR makes you competent in 6 months as to what they learn in 3-4 years, and hence, the classes in the partner schools are more mellow. As far as the relevancy of the course is concerned, both SPJIMR and the partner schools offer you a wide variety of courses and electives to choose from. Hence, you make your own curriculum based on your own interests.
Other: I chose this course because of the structure of the course. I wanted to pursue my Masters abroad and yet have an impact on Indian employability. I think the course does full justice to both. I did not feel less competent when I moved out. However, I do feel the course could be a bit more well-structured based on the schools we choose. I got consumed in the interest that I took some courses which were not relevant after I moved to my partner school. If not structuring the course, providing some guidance or counseling would be nice.

Absolutely loved the experience, placements can be better.
Placements: 100% placed. The highest package approximately. 35LPA, the lowest 15LPA, Top recruiting firms - Brain, BCG, HUL, Top Roles - Consultant, Management Leadership Programs, 100% internship placements in companies like J&J, HUL, Mondelez, Axis Bank, BCG, Philips, Nivea etc.
Infrastructure: 1. Classrooms are world class infra structure, all classes done with PPTs. Library was fully equipped with books and software for research purposes. 2. Hostel rooms had AC, daily cleaning facilities, multiple canteens nearby with decent quality food, sports facilities not that great.
Faculty: 1. Teachers are absolutely brilliant at the institute, all from good Schools with years of work experience. Almost all have PHDs. The teachers are available after classes for any doubts. Post Graduate Executive Management Programme (PGEMP) - Batch of 2017

The college teaches its students to become future business leaders.
Placements: There were many batches for this course, and each batch has a strength of 35 students, and I am a student of batch 54. Students got placed in different companies like BPCL, NRL, L&T, SAP, Mahindra & Mahindra, Tata Motors and Tata Steel. As all the students in the batch were already working, hence campus placements were not necessary. We had to attend classes of 9 days in each quarter, and the course was divided into C0 to C7. Most of the students were offered middle management level roles in their companies.
Infrastructure: Classrooms were well-equipped with CCTV and audio recording sessions, and each classroom has a semicircle seating arrangement. The college distributes textbooks and handouts. Labs were good and had facilities like desktops, Wi-Fi and LAN connections. The library has a wide range of books, and it was easy to collect books from the library. Toilets were good and clean. The canteen was hygienic and served good quality food. The double bedroom allotted to students during 9 days stay at college, and each room has an attached bathroom, and the hall was very clean. All the basic facilities were available in the hostel. The doctor was always available when we call. The college has a tie-up with spring health hospital. There will be a yoga session in the morning daily for students to keep them fit. The swimming pool was also available on the campus, and all sports facilities were also available on the campus.
Faculty: Teachers were highly knowledgeable and helpful. One senior professor Mr Moradian of operation management was unique at his teaching. Another professor Mr Raghu Ayer was highly knowledgeable, and his teaching style was in such a way that students understand the subject very easily. My project guide Dr Anjali Mallick has supported me well and guided me to complete my project. The course has been very much relevant to my profile as I am in the marketing division in BPCL. After going through this course, I find myself highly ready to face the challenges in a better way. I found sessions on operation management, supply chain, marketing very useful for me. The course curriculum makes the students lead industries.
Other: I am in the marketing division of BCPL. I was an engineer and sometime finding it difficult to understand the different departments and their constraint in doing the job. I have been in sales since the beginning and was not very well-equipped to grow in the hierarchy. After completing the course, my performance in the company has improved, and I am well-equipped to handle pressure at a senior position.

The college is satisfactory, and it is helping us well.
Placements: Most people here are for joining their family businesses and make it big and learn how to face the challenges. So they don't focus on getting a job.
Infrastructure: We have all the required facilities here on the campus. Wi-Fi, E-books, cricket field, gym, football field, are available on the campus. There is a hostel facility. There are air-conditioned rooms and classrooms. Water and food quality is also nice, and we have food and service is available almost 24x7.
Faculty: Teachers here have been very modern and understanding. They're not teaching us in the traditional method, but they understand the benefits of technology and students of our generation. We've been taught to the best of your expectations.
Other: A lot of faculty members from the practical world who have a more on-field experience teach us. A lot of interactive sessions are conducted by the people of our industry.
