Yes, the institute is approved by UGC. JIMS Rohini was set up by the Jagannath Gupta Memorial Educational Society. All the institutes under the soceity are approved by the University Grants Comission (UGC). Additionally, JIMS Rohini is also accredited by and affiliated to statuory bodies, including AICTE, AIU, NBA, and State government.
Currently, Jagan Institute of Management Studies, Rohini is running under the guidance of Dr. Pooja Jain. She has been associated with the institute for 18 years and is currently the acting director of the institute. Her areas of interest include Rural Marketing, Comsumer Behavior, Branding, and ICT applications. The institute further have 30 members as part of the core faculty.
At JIMS Sec-5 Rohini managerial talent is carefully nurtured through round the clock action of hours which involves a student to be an integral part of cultural activities, fests, student-driven clubs, competitions, industry/mall visits, placements preparedness plan, industry research projects, business plan case-studies competitions.
