XAT syllabus is considered extensive and challenging. It is often viewed as more comprehensive than other management exams. Sections like Decision Making and an Essay is also included in the XAT exam syllabus.

Eligibility criteria for XAT 2018: Recognized Bachelor's degree of minimum three years duration or equivalent in any discipline. During admissions in college, weight for academic and work experience is 5%, essay, and GK-10%, XAT scores - 65% and GD/PI-20%.

The general eligibility criteria to get MBA admission to XAT colleges in India are listed below:

• MBA colleges in India consider scores from national-level entrance exams such as XAT and many others. Candidates are required to meet the minimum cutoff scores set by the respective colleges.

Candidates can apply by selecting the course and campus option while filling out the XAT application form. There is no separate application form for XLRI courses.

The XAT application process is facilitated online. Candidates must visit the official website to register, fill the form, upload scanned documents, and pay the exam fee.

For PGDM aspirants, who are willing to take admission must have a valid MAT, CMAT, and XAT percentile. As per the IPE Hyderabad cutoff 2024, the official cutoff percentile for PGDM stood at 80, 75 and 60 for CMAT, MAT, and XAT for the General or open category candidates. Students can complete the IIRM Hyderabad application process online/ offline. For online submission, students have to simply apply at the official page of the institute. To complete the offline process, the downloaded form has to be sent to the admission desk with a demand draft of INR 500 + documents.

The total fees include many components. Some of them are tuition fee, admission fee, special fee, etc. The total tuition fee is INR 4.8 lakh. Students have to also pay a non-refundable admission fee of INR 30,000 at the time of admission. Other additional fee components are to be paid per trimester.
