Mahindra University MBA Entrance Test or MUMET is a common entrance exam for admission to the full-time MBA programme offered by Mahindra University, School of Management. The course is of 2 year duration admission for which is done through meticulous selection. The MBA classes start in June/July.

The MUMET exam score is used for shortlisting of candidates for selection process. Given below are the key highlights of MUMET 2026:

• For appearing in MUMET, candidates must have bachelor’s degree in any discipline or equivalent from a recognized university.
• Final year students are also eligible to apply for the entrance exam
• Candidates having GMAT/GRE/CAT score need not appear for the MUMET

Reading Comprehension: RC passages, Parajumbles, Parasummary, Sentence Completion, Vocabulary and Grammar.

Critical Reasoning: Arguments, Assumption, Statement, Cause and Affect, Analogies, Coding and Decoding, Syllogism, etc.

Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning: Tables, Bar Graphs, Pie Charts, Number Series, Blood Relations, Family Tree, Data Sufficiency, Puzzles, etc.

Quantitative Ability: Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Mensuration, Number System, etc.

Candidates must note that test paper may be different for every candidate as they are randomly selected from a large pool of questions.

For admission to MBA programme offered by Mahindra University, candidates need to appear for the MUMET exam. Here is the process to fill MUMET 2026 application form:

Go to the official website

• Click on ‘apply now’ option
• Enter relevant details to register
• Now, go to the application form and fill in academic/personal details
• Add contact information
• Upload one video essay
• Upload scanned copy of class 10, 12, graduation marksheets as well as a photo ID (eg: Aadhaar card/passport)
• Pay the fee amount of INR 100 to complete the process

MUMET Selection Criteria

Candidates with MUMET or CAT/GMT/GRE score will be shortlisted for the interview round. The personal interview will be conducted in person at the Mahindra University campus, Hyderabad. Check below a few critical criteria on which candidates will be selected for admission:

1. Consistent high academic score
2. Good MUMET/CAT/GMAT/GRE score
3. Good communication skills and maturity
4. Extra-curricular achievement
5. Work experience is desirable

Offer of admission will be sent to candidates in their registered e-mail IDs. They will have to accept the offer and confirm admission by paying the first instalment of the course fee.
