Q:   What is the BHU selection process for MBA programme?

Banaras Hindu University accepts CAT and CUET-PG scores for admission to its MBA programmes. For the MBA (IB) and MBA courses, aspirants should have a valid score of CAT. Shortlisted candidates are further called for the group discussion and personal interview round. The selection rounds along with the assigned weightage are mentioned below:

  • Qualifying exam: 50% weightage
  • Academic record: 20% weightage
  • GDPI (conducted by FMS, BHU): 30% weightage
Q:   Can students with a minimum cutoff for MBA get a seat at Fakir Mohan University?
A: 

To be eligible for admission to the MBA programme at Fakir Mohan University, candidates must:

  • Get a bachelor's degree from a recognised university with a minimum of 50% marks
  • Pass the OJEE entrance exam 
  • For the 2022 MBA program, the minimum cutoff for general category students was 12,895th rank. 
  • Candidates who meet the cutoff must participate in the OJEE counseling and give preference to Fakir Mohan University, Balasore.
