My honest review of my college.

Placements: Placements are good in the college. The average package offered is around 3 LPA. However, some students get placed with a good package as the highest package offered is 12 LPA. Flipkart is one of the companies that visited the college for placements. Some other good product companies that visited are Deloitte, Sony, etc. The package offered is above 4.5 LPA. Mass recruiting companies also visit the college, including TCS and Infosys. Altogether, 65% of students get placed. The maximum intake is from the TCS company.

Infrastructure: The hostel food is bad. There are no indoor games in the hostel. They close the hostel door at 8 PM for boys and 7 PM for girls. The only facility they provide is free Wi-Fi. Labs are well-equipped with all the necessary equipment.

Faculty: The course curriculum is good enough. The course structure is well-planned. The lab course is structured and preplanned. I won't claim that all teachers are very good, but teachers were really helpful. Senior teachers are experienced. The dean of the EC department is a PhD holder from IISC Bangalore. So it gives an edge. Extra classes are organised for students. The course curriculum is a bit outdated, but professors bring a lot of new topics for discussion. Pedagogy is also a bit outdated, considering the fact that lots of other MBA institutes have an innovative style of teaching. Some courses are offered on a specific campus, so it creates a lot of convenience for students to travel to different campuses.

MBA in CMR technical campus.

Placements: The highest salary package offered was 11.2 LPA and the average salary package offered was 4.3 LPA in the academic year 2023. And also out of 126 students from the department of MBA 84, students got placed, with good salary packages. Skill-building workshops, industrial visits, and internships were arranged by our college.

Infrastructure: CMR technical campus had a very large sports stadium capable of 500 seating for spectators. Also, facilities like meditation halls, gym, and shuttle clubs are arranged for students. In case of events, all necessities were arranged by the college for other college students.

Faculty: During class, concepts are explained based on some real-time examples, and fair talks especially in the accounts class. Regular tests were conducted twice a week, such marks were taken into account while entering marks for internals. Very few teachers disappointed students in taking class, by taking tough class.

Workshops and LinkedIn premium activation are done by colleges for placements.

Placements: Passed-out students from our college got connected with students of the current year through various social media. Workshops on skill training and premium activation for LinkedIn were arranged by the college itself. The minimum salary offered to hired students ranges between 2.8 LPA to 3.2 LPA.

Infrastructure: For transportation, college buses were available. Also, we can use nearby autos or two wheelers for transportation.

Faculty: It's a total of 4 semesters and a two-year program. Most of them were theoretical exams and few of them were practical. Experts were invited to handle workshops and industrial-oriented classes. Overall results was 90% which was higher than the previous semesters. Discrimination among students is not actively encouraged by our college management. Sometimes groupism arises among students but management is strict against such behaviour.

I'm satisfied with the college. Overall, I would rate 4 out of 5 stars to this college.

Placements: For B.Tech and MBA, there are placements. At least 60%of students got placed. The highest package offered is 10 LPA and the lowest is 1.7 LPA. Ryan India, Byju's, Toppr, City Union Bank and Muthoot finance are the top recruiters. Internship students are less hardly 1%. The assistant manager is the top role offered.

Infrastructure: Seminar hall, library, physical education and computer labs are the facilities provided for us. Quality of the facilities provided is best, food quality is average in the canteen, the emergency medical facility is available and an indoor stadium is also available.

Faculty: The faculty is highly professional and teach very well. They focus more on practical knowledge than bookish knowledge. I have chosen finance in MBA and I got placed in the core industry only with help of knowledge gained through college. Semester exams are difficult as it is not autonomous and the pass percentage is 60%-70%.

My review of this college.

Placements: The college does provide internships incorporates. The maximum period for an internship is 60 days. The stipend totally depends on individual companies. Placements are good. Most students from our batch get placed in good companies. In my opinion, good companies come to the college where students are shortlisted for interviews, and some get placements. Placement is particularly strong in marketing than others. Companies like Godrej, Oracle, ICICI, RBS, and Balaji Telefilms visit the campus for placements. Packages range from 4 to 11 LPA.

Infrastructure: The hostel facilities and the mess food provided by the college are pretty awesome. One would love to stay here at CMR, with hygienic hostel rooms, complete facilities, and homely food. One would never complain about the hostel and food. The management focuses more on business than education. Both boys' and girls' hostels are awesome to live in.

Faculty: There are faculty members for undergraduate and postgraduate courses who are highly qualified and experienced. Assistant professors also work to help students with their doubts. They are always very interactive and knowledgeable about every new technology, as they update their skills according to the new technology. The exam structure is the same as in most other good colleges in India. There is a monthly and sessional test along with lab and theory follow-ups. There are no hectic schedules during exams, and there are nice gaps between exams. A chill-out session follows after examinations. The MBA course is divided into 4 semesters, out of which the first 2 semesters improve your basic skills, while the last 2 semesters focus on your professional skills. The course structure is simplified for students.
