It is a great experience and career development.

Placements: The Bengal Institute of Business Studies offers a lot of experience to the students, and as a result, students achieve 100% placements. All students get the opportunity to be placed in huge companies like ITC, Marico, PWC, etc., in different roles respective to their courses

Infrastructure: There are a total of three buildings under the Bengal Institute of Business Studies. One of them is dedicated to finance specialization only, while the other two are for the junior and senior batches of other specializations. The campus has Wi-Fi and all the necessary amenities.

Faculty: Faculty members in The Bengal Institute of Business Studies are extremely experienced and knowledgeable. They provide students with real-time insights that help them get their desired companies and build their careers thereafter. There are dedicated faculty members for both years.

Other: I choose this for placements, and I am currently placed at Marico.

Placements: Our college brings in many big companies for all specializations, including ITC, HDFC Bank, Bandhan Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, ICICI Bank, Marico, Mondelez, Asian Paints, and Berger. The highest package is 10 lacs and the average package is 5.5 lacs.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good, and the courses are well-designed to help students learn properly. They provide training for placements, and overall, the institute makes students. However, there is no hostel.

Faculty: The faculty are very good and very cooperative. They design the curriculum in a way that is conducive to student learning. There are eight semesters in two years, with the college taking four semesters and the university taking the other four. The exams are very good.

Other: I chose marketing course because placements are good in marketing specialisation. They do many events and programs.

Not recommended this college to anyone.

Placements: The placement ratio is not good. Many students got placements in third-party companies. After two interviews, they don't give opportunities for students to sit for placements. Most of their placement reviews seem fake, and they don't provide good internship opportunities.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are very congested, and they are held in a flat-based campus. There is no proper library or auditorium. The seat intake is over 120 in each classroom, making it tough for us to concentrate on lectures among so many students. The toilets are not clean.

Faculty: The faculty is not very good. They complete the syllabus on time but are not helpful or supportive toward students. They create exam questions and check answer papers, but students don't receive certificates after two years of passing out.

A short review on Bengal Institute of Business Studies.

Placements: 1. 90% of students got placement every year from every batch. 2. The highest package offered was Rs 10 LPA, the average package was Rs 5 LPA, and the lowest package was Rs 3.5 LPA. 3. The top recruiting companies are Exide, Parle, Britannia, Dabur, Asian Paints and many more. 4. 100% of students got internships.

Infrastructure: In our college, the entire building is covered with cameras; every classroom is equipped with an AC smart board and projector, as well as a personal computer for faculty in the classroom. The library is small but it is useful. The sports club is very good; they mainly focus on cricket and football for boys and Khokho for girls.

Faculty: 1. The teachers are very helpful, fully qualified and knowledgeable, and almost every faculty member has completed their higher degrees. 2. Yes, obviously, the course is relevant for each student and the course is perfectly fit for industry. 3. The semesters are very difficult and the pass percentage is 90%.

Review of Bengal Institute of Business Studies.

Placements: In our PGPBM course, almost 97% students get placed every year by our college. Top recruiting companies are Exide, Britannia, Dabur, Nestled, Kellogg's, Panasonic, Shopper Stop, Bandhan Bank, HDFC bank, ICICI bank, Pantaloons and many more. Top roles offered include that of Management trainee, Assets Manager, Area Sales Head, Associate Manager. The highest package offered is approximately Rs 20L and the lowest is Rs 3.5L. 100% students got internships from our course.

Infrastructure: The facilities available include 24 hours Wi-Fi, all the classrooms being equipped with smart projectors and the whole building having a centralized AC. There is no hostel in our college but the college provides PG facilities nearby. The college also provides rented flats.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful in our college and all of them are from the industries. They are all well qualified. The course is very relevant along with being the best course in our college. The course is fully designed for the students. Almost 80% students get placements before the end of the session. The semester exams are not so tough because they are practical situation based exams.

Other: In our college there are many clubs for the students like dance club, trek club, music club, E-cell.

There is showing that BIBS is not approved by AICTE. Is there any problem while doing MBA if the institute is not AICTE approved?

The institute is under Vidyasagar University. Got some extra affiliation with PwC and NSE, as I have heard of. Their placement is also excellent. That is something that should be kept in mind while choosing an institute! Surely, go for it.

Is BIBS AICTE approved or not? If yes, can you provide me with the link, which proves that BIBS is AICTE approved?

It is an illegal institution and is mentioned under RED INK ink under UNAPPROVED INSTITUTES IN AICTE Govt. of India Official Website. The audacity of this institute which is still running is unbelievable. AICTE will take strict action against them If they don't close down or apply for approval soon.

BIBS is the only Business School in the whole Eastern India who do provide regular MBA programme affiliated to Vidyasagar University, NAAC accredited, WB State Government University, recognized by UGC, Ministry of HRD,

Yes, I was a student of VU MBA and I have destroyed my two years. There is no placement. You should try those colleges which are out of West Bengal. Good luck.
