At Jadavpur University, there are 2 specialisations of BPharma that candidates can choose from. These include the BPharma in Pharmaceutical Technologies and Ayurveda.

The total seat intake for BPharm is 100. Candidates must pass Class 12 with at least 60% aggregate or equivalent to AIU recognised Class 12 examination with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology as optional subjects to apply for the BPharm course. However, the students possessing Class 12 qualifications from non-formal and non-class rooms based schooling such as National Institute of Open Schooling, open school systems of states etc. shall not be eligible for admission to BPharm course. Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations is accepted.

Accroding to Shiksha the ROI (Return on Investment) is counted on the basis of fee amount invested by the candidates, and the average placements package given to BPharm students from Brainware University. The total tuition fees for the BPharm course at Brainware University range from INR 4.4 lakh to INR 6.9 lakh, and the ROI provided by the university is INR 3 lakh. On the other hand, the tuition fees for the BPharm course at Sister Nivedita University range between INR 4.4 - 6.5 lakh. And the return on investment provided by the SNU is INR 6 lakh. Hence, the return on investment/ average package from Sister Nivedita University is better than that of Brainware University. However, the ROI can fluctuate according to the fee structure and placement packages provided by the university. Candidates are suggested to choose the BPharm course according to their career goals, and inclination.
