ICAI Releases CA May 2026 Exam Dates for Foundation, Intermediate and Final
ICAI CA May 2026 Exam dates for Foundation, Intermediate and Final have been announced. CA exam registration will start from March 3, 2026. Check schedule below.
Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has released exam schedule for CA May 2026 session for Foundation, Intermediate and Final courses. These exams will be conducted from May 2 to May 20, 2026. Registrations will be done from March 3 to March 19, 2026.
According to ICAI notification, examinations will be held at various centres in India and international locations. Institute has also clarified that examination timetable will remain unchanged even if any of exam dates coincide with public holidays.

ICAI CA 2026 Exam Timings
Most papers across Foundation, Intermediate and Final levels will be held from 2 PM to 5 PM. However certain papers including Foundation Papers 3 and 4 will be conducted for a shorter duration of two hours. Candidates will be provided advance reading time for applicable papers as per ICAI rules.
ICAI CA Exam Centres
ICAI stated that 2026 examinations will be held at several cities in India and at a few overseas centres like Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha, Muscat, Kathmandu and Bahrain subject to availability and minimum candidate numbers.
ICAI CA May 2026 Exam: What Candidates Should Know
- The exam schedule will not be revised due to public holidays
- Candidates must carefully select their preferred exam centre while filling the exam form
- Detailed instructions, city lists and paper codes are available in the official notification
ICAI is expected to announce the CA May 2026 exam form dates, application fees and admit card schedule separately. Candidates are advised to keep checking the official ICAI website for further updates.
Reporting time for CA Inter exam will be mentioned on admit card. Student are advised to reach their respective test centres at least 2 hours before the exam starts. This is done for smooth identification process and avoid overcrowding on the exam day.
The ICAI provides facility of marks verification to candidates. CA Intermediate students who wish to get their answer copies reevaluated, by applying through marks verification process. The window to apply for marks verification is opened a day after the result announcement.

CA candidates need to carry two copies of CA admit card (A4 size paper/colour printout), one photo ID (original), blue or black ballpoint pen and calculator to the examination centre. Candidates can carry Aadhaar card, PAN card, Voter ID card, passport or driving license as the mandatory document for identification. They are also required to carry passport size photos to affix on the CA admit card. Entry without these documents will not be allowed.
Digital copy of the admit card or photo ID will not be accepted as valid at the examination centres, thus candidates must take print outs of their admit card as soon as they download it.
