Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV), Indore, has introduced a suite of aviation-related programs aimed at creating a talent pipeline for Indiaβs booming aviation industry. The offerings include BBA in Aviation Management, Diploma in Aviation Security, and short-term certifications in airport operations and customer service.
The university has partnered with aviation training experts to integrate real-world exposure and certifications approved by DGCA and other bodies. According to DAVV officials, the curriculum has been aligned with international aviation standards, including modules on aviation regulations, aviation security, airline operations, ground services, and airport finance.
Admissions are currently open via MP Online and will continue until August 30, 2025. Students from all streams are eligible to apply, and preference will be given to candidates with a demonstrated interest in aviation and hospitality sectors. The programs will include internships with airline operators and airports, and students will also get exposure to industry case studies and guest lectures from aviation professionals.
DAVV aims to meet the growing need for well-trained professionals in aviation, with a special emphasis on regional students gaining access to careers that were earlier considered niche or inaccessible due to limited infrastructure.
