IPMAT 2026 exam date is May 4, 2026. Shiksha conducted a recent poll to shed light on how candidates are managing IPMAT and Class 12 board preparation together. The poll showed that 41% of students have yet to begin their full-fledged IPMAT exam preparation 2026. A large number of students appearing for IPMAT exam are currently focused on board exams and plan to shift to full fledged preparation for IPMAT once the board exams are over. Among the students who have started their IPM preparation,
34% students are giving one to two hours for IPMAT preparation
15% students are giving three to five hours
10% students are dedicating six hours and above to IPM exam preparation 2026.
How to Prepare for IPMAT Along with Boards?
Students who are preparing for Class 12 board exams can use this time to gain clarity with concepts and practice with IPMAT sample papers to preparefor both exams. Once the board exams are over, students can increase their studyu hours for IPMAT preparation and complete their IPMAT syllabus. They can also start focusing on mock tests and revision. Students can follow the below mentioned routine to know how to manage boards and IPMAT preparation:

No. There is no sectional time limit in JIPMAT exam. Candidates have to answer all questions in JIPMAT exam within 150 minutes.
