JEE Main 2026 Registration Session 2 Live: How to fill form, link at jeemain.nta.nic.in, documents, and fee updates

NTA will soon announce JEE Mains 2026 registration last date session 2. Registration link will be made available soon. Candidates will be able to check the last date to submit JEE Main session 2 application form here.

According to experts, 120 marks in JEE Main is most likely to fall around 97.6 to 98.3 percentile.

Candidates can fill only one application form. If any candidate fills multiple application forms, NTA can cancel the forms and his/her candidature will be rejected. It is thus strongly advised to fill only one JEE Main application form.

Candidates can retrieve their JEE Mains password, following the steps below -

• Go to jeemain.nta.nic.in and select registered candidate login
• Click on the Forgot Password link
• Fill your application number and date of birth.
• There will be three options available to reset password, which are
  • Using security question and its answer candidates provided while filling the form
  • Using a verification code sent on candidates registered mobile number
  • Using a reset link sent via email to the registered email ID
• Select your preferred mode and proceed to reset password.

Candidates can check eligibility criteria for JEE Main 2026 registration session 2 below -

• Must have passed class 12 in 2024 or 2025 or must be appearing in 2026.
• There is no age-limit for JEE Main 2026 registration
• There is no minimum qualifying percentage to apply for JEE Mains 2026.
• For Paper 1 (BE/BTech), candidates must have Physics and Maths in Class 12 and any other subject from Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical vocational subject.
• For Paper 2A (BArch), candidates must have Physics, Chemistry, and Maths in Class 12.
• For Paper 2B (BPlan), candidates must have Maths in Class 12

To capture a live photograph in JEE Main 2026, candidates have to follow the process below -

• Candidates must switch on their camera or connect their webcam to the device used for filling JEE Main application form 2026.
• If the device does not support a webcam, then QR code on the right can be scanned by the candidate using a mobile or tablet. 

NOTE: The background must light-coloured with proper lightning and 80% face visibility.

Yes, NTA has issued JEE Main hall ticket 2026 for Jan 28 and 29 exam. Candidates attempting exam on these dates can download their admit card from JEE Main login 2026 using their application number and password. The login page can be checked below -

JEE Main 2026 exam will be held in 13 languages - English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Malayalam, Odia, Tamil, Punjabi, Telugu, and Urdu, allowing candidates to choose their choice of language at the time of filling JEE Mains application form 2026 for session 2.

JEE Mains session 2 application form will be OUT soon at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The exam will be held from April 2 to 9 in two shifts. The exam timings are -

• Morning shift - 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
• Afternoon shift - 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm

It is mandatory to upload photo and signature as per the image specifications issued by the National Testing Agency. Incase, the image does not fulfill the required criteria, then there are high chances your form might get rejected. The following details and documents are required at the time of JEE Main registration 2026 -

• Valid ID
• Mobile number
• Class 10th marksheet/certificate
• Aadhar card details
• Scanned photo and signature as per specifications
• OBC-NCL or EWS certificate (if applicable)
• PwD certificate (if applicable)

Candidates must note that 75% is not required to appear for JEE Mains. However, a qualifying exam score of 75% in class 12th will be required at the time of admission to NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs. For SC/ST candidates, the minimum qualifying mark required is 65% in the 12th class exam. 

Yes, students can upload black and white photo, as there is no restriction regarding the photo format. However, the image must be uploaded as per the specifications issued by NTA, which are as follows -

• Photograph should be in JPEG/JPG format
• Dimention has to be 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm
• Size has to be 10 KB to 200 KB

Candidates can attempt for JEE Main exam for three consecutive years from the year of passing the class 12 exam making JEE Main number of attempts six.
