Latest Update:Cancel CBSE Board Exams considering prevailing pandemic situation: Sisodia wrote to HRD Minister

The Board will be conducting the remaining CBSE 10th exam for a section of students in North-East Delhi and CBSE 12th exams 2020 for students across the country from July 1 to 15. On May 18, CBSE had released the revised Class 10 date sheet 2020 and CBSE Class 12 date sheet 2020.

Due to the coronavirus outbreak, CBSE had postponed the board examinations in the country which will now be conducted from July 1 to 15.

Several students and parents across the country have raised their concern over CBSE conducting the exam amid the ongoing coronavirus crisis and have demanded that the Board should declare CBSE Board Results 2020 either by calculating the average of tests already held or on the basis of internal assessment.

However, the Union HRD Minister, in an interview said, β€œAll national level exams to be conducted as per schedule. In case the situation due to coronavirus is not good in a particular state or area, the decision to conduct the exam in that area or not will be taken that time.”

Addressing the safety concerns amid the pandemic, he added, "Our first priority is the students' life. Any decision to conduct the exam will be taken keeping in mind the safety and health of a student".

Students are the future of this nation, and our sole responsibility is to ensure their safety. We are chalking out ways to ensure that they don't suffer any academic loss, the Minister said.

The HRD Minister had announced that the Board is expected to declare CBSE 10th Result 2020 and CBSE 12th Result 2020 by August 15.

This is the first time, that the Board will be announcing the Class 10 Results and Class 12 Result by mid-August.

Radhika, I am also the student of class 12 and I really want to give my Business studies Exam at any cost because this decides my future. The remaining exams should be compulsory for all with all the security measures..

Are u crazy man. The exams should be compulsory because those students who didn't do better in pre-boards can do better in board exams. By passing all the students on Internal assessment in cheating to those who have done hard work for the subject.
