HBSE Class 12 English Exam Analysis 2026: Haryana Board of School Education conducted Class 12 English board exam today in afternoon session from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM. Haryana Board English exam is a core subject for Science, Commerce and Arts streams. Hence, performance in HBSE class 12th English exam can impact overall percentage. According to students reaction, HBSE 12th English paper was divided into multiple sections, including reading comprehension, writing skills (like letters, articles, reports) and literature-based questions (poems, prose, drama).

As per HBSE 12th English exam analysis, overall paper was easy to moderate, with questions based on the prescribed syllabus. The total marks for English theory paper was 80, with additional 20 marks for internal assessment or practical evaluation, making a total of 100 marks in HBSE 12th English board exam 2026. Students had to complete paper within 3 hours.

While official difficulty level of HBSE 12th English paper is still being awaited. However, based on initial student’s reaction, board pattern and earlier model papers, HBSE English Elective, Core & Special exam balance between moderate and manageable difficulty, with emphasis on textbook-based questions. Comprehension passage was straightforward if students had practiced regularly, but long writing sections was slightly time-taking.

English literature questions were from prescribed syllabus in HBSE curriculum. Overall, as per HBSE 12th English exam analysis, paper was moderate and tested understanding of literature and writing skills rather than just memorisation.
