This Certificate programme equips healthcare professionals with strategic expertise and leadership skills to drive innovation and sustainable growth in a dynamic healthcare ecosystem.

To address the dynamic and contemporary challenges amidst unprecedented growth in the healthcare industry, the Indian Institute of Management Nagpur (IIM Nagpur), in collaboration with All India Institute of Medical Sciences Nagpur (AIIMS Nagpur) and TimesPro – a higher edtech platform, announced admissions to the sixth batch of the Post Graduate Certificate Programme in Advanced Healthcare Management.

This programme aims to equip healthcare professionals with the necessary skills and knowledge to navigate the complex healthcare ecosystem while shaping future leaders who will drive innovation, efficiency and excellence in their organisations.

The 12-month blended learning programme is the first-ever collaboration between AIIMS Nagpur and IIM Nagpur, combining their healthcare and management expertise. It involves a four-day campus immersion where the AIIMS Nagpur faculty will deliver lectures and masterclasses at IIM Nagpur, providing a holistic learning experience. The programme will cover modules such as healthcare management, policy, finance, operations, technology, analytics, HR and strategy. Learners will gain expertise in managing various healthcare institutions and prepare for diverse industry roles, positioning them for leadership and guiding their organisations into the future.

According to the Economic Survey 2022-23, the combined budgeted expenditure on healthcare by the central and state governments reached 2.1% of GDP in FY23 and 2.2% in FY22. In comparison, OECD data indicated the highest health expenditure to GDP ratio was for the US at 16.6% in 2022, followed by Germany at 12.7% and France at 12.1%. Driven by technology, innovation, and accessibility, the Fifteenth Finance Commission proposed increasing expenditure to 2.5% of GDP by 2025. A report from Boston Consulting Group and B Capital estimated India's healthcare industry could grow from $2.7 billion in 2022 to $37 billion by 2030.

Q:   How do I get admission at IIM Nagpur?
A:

Candidates must follow the correct application process to not miss a chance of getting admission to IIM Nagpur. First, visit the official website and register for the entrance exam. Take part in the college selection process. Wait for the admission call. The candidates must have valid scores in accepted entrance exams such as CAT and others. 

Q:   How can I get seat in IIM Nagpur?
A:

For getting admission at IIM Nagpur, candidates need to meet the CAT cut-offs and should have submitted their application form for IIM Nagpur within the given deadline. The shortlisted candidates will be called for the  Personal Interview (PI) process. Candidates who are shortlisted for PI will be required to confirm their interest in the PI process of IIM Nagpur based on which admission offers will be sent out to the candidates, in accordance with their merit list in final score. These steps are designed to evaluate your suitability for the programme and to determine if you have the necessary skills and qualifications to succeed in your academic pursuits.

Learners will receive an alumni status on successful completion of the programme. Admissions to the programme conclude on November 2, 2025, with batches commencing from November 23, 2025.
