Ahmedabad University Undergraduate Admissions 2020: Ahmedabad University has released key policy measures for those who are seeking admission in the Undergraduate courses offered at the varsity. Amongst the several policy measures issued by the varsity, one is that the students who will be joining the varsity, will be allowed to attend the online classes until December, even if the campus is reopened earlier. This has been done keeping in mind the safety of the students during this time when current coronavirus cases in the country are rising.
Ahmedabad University will start its monsoon semester online in August and has made detailed plans on how to open campus, as and when the situation allows.However, all students will have the flexibility to decide if they want to attend classes online or on-campus. This will allow students to start the academic year on schedule, and from the safety of their homes, if necessary.
The varsity has also asked the students to apply for UG admission now with the Class 10 and Class 11 marksheets, in case, their results have not been announced yet, in order to start the classes in August. However, students has been directed to upload the Class 12 results immediately after it is announced. Once the Class 12 result is uploaded, the varsity will take the final decision. CBSE, ICSE is expected to announce CBSE Board Result 2020 and ICSE Board Result 2020 by July 15. Other Boards are still to either complete the evaluation process or announce the result declaration date.
CBSE, IB, IGCSE and CISCE have announced alternative evaluation methods. The grades announced by each board will be accepted, as defined by the Board. The Class 12 results will be considered as part of Ahmedabad University holistic evaluations.
