AMU Board Exams 2021 Postponed: Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has postponed the remaining papers of the ongoing Secondary School Certificate (Class X) and Senior Secondary School Certificate (Class XII) examinations in view of the nation-wide surge in COVID-19 cases. However, the varsity will soon be releasing fresh dates for the postponed exams after analyzing the situation of the novel coronavirus spread in the area. Meanwhile, the varsity has also asked the students to vacate hostels and leave for their homes considering their safety and health.

Commenting on the postponement, said Mr Mujib Ullah Zuberi, Controller of Examination, AMU said, “Fresh exam dates will be announced in due course of time on the website, www.amucontrollerexam.com. All students are advised to leave for their homes.”

The reports regarding the postponement of the board exams came after various education boards including the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) postponed the annual board exams. According to the reports, the national board has canceled CBSE 10th exams and postponed CBSE 12th exams.

Aligarh Muslim University earlier postponed the AMU Entrance Exam 2021 due to the rising cases of COVID-19 across the country. As per the official notification released by the varsity, the revised AMU admission test dates will be announced in due course of time. The university has advised candidates to keep visiting the official website for the latest updates regarding the same.

Universities across India are postponing the exams to later dates considering the rising COVID-19 cases. Various educational institutions have already shifted teaching-learning to the virtual mode in order to curb academic loss.
