Bangalore University Final Year Exams 2020 Postponed: Bangalore University decided to postpone its Final Year Exams 2020 for undergraduate level students. According to the earlier notification, the exams were scheduled for September 25 and September 28. Following the postponement of the two exams, the varsity also published a revised datesheet which provides new dates for the delayed papers. According to the revised datesheet, the exam that is postponed will now be held on October 4 and October 6, 2020, respectively. However, candidates must note that the exam scheduled on September 26, 2020, will be held according to the timetable released earlier.

Bangalore University took the decision to hold exams for final year students in August after the Supreme Court backed UGC’s guidelines confirming that holding exams is mandatory for awarding of degrees. The court also stated that universities are not allowed to promote students to the next grade without holding the exams. Thereafter, Bangalore University announced the time table for Final Year Exams 2020 for both undergraduate and postgraduate level students.

As the Bangalore University final exams are being held amid the ongoing pandemic situation, the university is taking all the necessary precautions and following the guidelines issued by UGC and Health Ministry to ensure the complete safety of students and staff members during the exams. According to the decision taken by the university, the affiliated colleges which have been identified as exam centres are to get a PPE Kit ready along with face shields, hand sanitizers and hand wash for the safety of the students appearing for the exams.
