The online application submission facility for admission in colleges affiliated to the Delhi University (DU) will close on July 4.

DU Admission 2020: Candidates seeking admission to various Undergraduate, Postgraduate and MPhil programmes can submit their registration form online on or before July 4. The online application submission facility for admission to Delhi University and the colleges affiliated to it will close on the above-mentioned date. 

By June 24, Over 1.26 lakh students had already registered for various undergraduate courses in DU. The varsity receives the highest number of applications for UG courses every year. While 41,704 candidates have applied for postgraduate programmes a total of 5,356 have applied for admission to M.Phil and PhD.

In 2019, a total of 3,67,895 candidates had applied on the University's admission portal, out of which 2,58,388 students had completed their application process with fee payment. From among the 2.5 lakh applicants, the maximum number of the application was received for BA (Hons) English followed by BA (Hons) Political Science, and BA Programme.

This year DU Admission 2020 process was delayed due to the coronavirus outbreak in the country. 

The admission to several UG, PG and PhD courses is based on the performance Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET). Candidates can also complete the DUET 2020 Registration on the official website of the University.

Candidates can apply for undergraduate courses even if their Class 12th exam for this year has not been declared by choosing 'Awaited' option in the drop-down menu of the Result Status” on “Academic Details” page/section while entering the information.

Meanwhile, CBSE will be announcing its final decision on conducting the remaining CBSE 10th and CBSE 12th exam. Once announced, it will give some clarity about the results too. Many state boards have already announced the Class 12 board exam result.
