Usually, IGNOU starts re-registration on the first day of September for the January cycle. However, the process started late this year.

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has officially extended the last date again for the submission of fresh and re-registration admission forms. The last date to submit the January session’s fresh and re-registration admission forms is February 15, 2020. Usually, IGNOU starts re-registration on the first day of September for the January cycle. However, the process started late this year.

IGNOU January 2020 Re-Registration

The re-registration process at IGNOU is also entirely online. To register for the consecutive year of their opted programme, students will need their enrollment number to log in. Re-registration means registering for next year/semester of a programme you are already enrolled in. The process is applicable to students who are already enrolled in undergraduate/postgraduate programmes of two-three year duration.

IGNOU January Admission 2020: How to apply

Students who haven’t submitted their admission forms yet can take a deep breath. Interested candidates can submit their forms following the steps mentioned below.

Step 1: Visit the official website of IGNOU i.e. ignou.ac.in

Step 2: Click on the link 'Online admission open for January 2020 session'

Step 3: A new page will appear

Step 4: Login using username and password

Step 5: Click on 'Submit'

Step 6: Fill in the application form and upload the relevant documents

Step 7: Click on 'Submit'

Step 8: For future reference, take a print out of the application form

Passport size photograph (the size should be less than 100 KB)

Accurate signature (the size should be less than 100 KB)

Proof of relevant educational qualification (the size should be less than 200 KB)

Relevant document for age proof (the size should be less than 200 KB)

Relevant SC/ST/OBC/Below Poverty Line certificate (if any) (the size should be less than 200 KB)
